Stefan Rusu

Stefan Rusu is a Senior Director at TSMC leading design activities in advanced process nodes. His industry experience includes 23 years at Intel Corporation and 6 years at Sun Microsystems. His expertise includes clock and power distribution, standard cell libraries, die planning, 2D and 3D packaging, yield recovery and silicon photonics. He is an IEEE Fellow (since 2007) and served on the steering committees of the ESSCIRC and A-SSCC conferences. He participated in the editorial board of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits and the Hot Chips conference organizing committee. He was the chair of the ISSCC Digital Subcommittee from 2011 to 2016. He has authored over 100 technical papers on VLSI circuit technology and holds over 70 US patents. Stefan earned a MSEE degree from the Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania.
